The Sleek Screener
The Sleek Screener actively looks for new senders and prevents their mails from
appearing in your inbox. From there, you can decide which new senders are to
keep or not.
Below are the three Screener actions you can do:
Keep in Inbox: The sender (or domain) will be removed from the Screener & moved to the Inbox
Unsubscribe: The sender (or domain) (including its future emails) will be diverted to a special Sleek unsubscribe label.
Redirect: All current & future emails of selected sender(s) (or domains) will be diverted to a newly chosen label.
To turn on or off the Screener:
From the Screener page:
- Click the gear icon beside Screener
- Click the toggle button on whether you want the screener to be active or inactive
- If turning on, confirm what type of senders you would like to Screen
- If turning off, confirm that all new senders will be directed to the inbox
From the Settings page:
- Click your profile icon
- Click Settings
- Go to Screener Settings
- Click the toggle button on whether you want the screener to be active or inactive
- If turning on, confirm what type of senders you would like to Screen
- If turning off, confirm that all new senders will be directed to the inbox
- The screener is not a label.
- For paid users with multiple accounts, the Screener can be turned on or off separately.
- Once a sender from the screener has been kept in the inbox or redirected to a label, it can no longer be moved back to the screener.
Unsubscribing from a Sender or Domain
For senders or domains that you would like to unsubscribe from, just select one or more senders (or domains) and hit the Sleek unsubscribe button (from the action bar or from the context menu). The unsubscribe feature diverts all future emails from selected sender(s) (or domains) to a special Sleek unsubscribed label.
